The CST-322 Charging Station Tester is designed to test the functionality and safety of Mode 2 and Mode 3 single-phase and three-phase Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) with fixed cables or direct socket connections. EVSE can be tested in accordance with the IEC/EN 61851-1 functional standard. The device can be used in combination with a multifunctional installation tester to perform tests according to the IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standard.

The built-in sunlight-readable TFT LCD display allows detailed Control Pilot signal analysis with graphs, error testing, mains voltage, RCD status, and more. The AUTOTEST functionality enables automatic testing of mains voltages, Control Pilot signals, error states, EVSE RCD (type AC, A, B), and RDC-DD tests. AUTOTEST steps can be customized by the user.

Users can download all measurement data for storage or report generation to a smartphone application via the integrated Bluetooth module.

The CST-322 also works in passive mode when the device is not powered on, allowing users to simulate the car, force the EVSE into various charging modes, and perform tests with an external installation tester. Control Pilot signal output sockets are available for more detailed Control Pilot signal analysis, such as with an oscilloscope.

The CST-322 is suitable for use both in the field and for end-of-line testing, as it can be powered by 4 x AA batteries or mains voltage.
